Reverse-vine® Stimulates Anti-Aging Gene

In August of 2003, one of the most important events regarding human health took place when researchers from Harvard Medical School and BIOMOL Research Laboratories discovered that resveratrol, an anti-oxidant found in red wine, activates a "longevity gene". Once activated, this longevity gene, SIRT-1, can extend an organisms life by up to 70% by repairing and duplicating DNA.

The results of their research and findings have led to resveratrol being regarded as the biggest medical breakthrough ever discovered because of its ability to inhibit and delay a wide number of illnesses including, but not limited to, cardiovascular disease, cancer, Type II Diabetes and depression.

BIOMOL Laboratories tested a sample of Reverse-vine® at 10% concentration for SIRT-1 activation properties. The ingredient Reverse-vine® is manufactured by Certified Nutraceuticals; a Murrieta, California based nutraceutical company has a proprietary extraction process. The Reverse-vine® testing was done in two phases and the testing demonstrated the ability of Reverse-vine® in stimulating SIRT-1 activity.

In addition to SIRT-1 activation by resveratrol, the "Reverse-vine®" ingredient exhibited another SIRT-1 activator, thought to be from trans-e-viniferin. Trans-e-viniferin is found in the cane, vine and stems of the grape and is believed to have equal or greater medical benefits than that of resveratrol...

Although trans-e-viniferin has not been studied as widely as trans-resveratrol, there is increasing evidence of the necessity of trans-e-viniferin in conjunction with trans-resveratrol for full absorption by the body. There is also scientific evidence that trans-e-viniferin amplifies the physiological effect of resveratrol.

In addition to being necessary for the full functionality of trans-resveratrol, trans-e-viniferin has been shown to have inhibit and disable tumor growth by inducing cancer cell death While trans-resveratrol is found primarily in the grape skin, trans-e-viniferin are found in the cane and vine of the grape.

Reverse-vine® is the only supplement on the market today to contain trans-resveratrol, trans-e-viniferin, and oligostilbenes. Reverse-vine® utilizes a proprietary extraction from a blend of grapevine, stem, red wine, and red grapes skin to obtain optimal bioavailability for the body
